Woven and cut paper on paper, 13 ½ x 10 ¾ inches, with a period gilt frame

This is an unusually large-sized love token incorporating twenty separate glove-like hands and twenty eight hearts, executed in various combinations of white, lined, pale blue, red, orange, dark blue, yellow, green, brown, olive, and gold metallic papers.
